22 Months and Words Galore!

Cora is growing like a weed. We are still cycling through visitors, but loving the company. Although some days are long (especially in the afternoon when Cora tends to have meltdowns) time is flying by and she is growing, learning, and experiencing so so much!

Cora is talking up a storm! She can now say:

Uh-oh!! No!/Nay/Nein, truck, bus, juice, ball, bottle, moo, bah, neigh, book, eggs, dark, doggie, kitty, Tanner, daddy, mommy, Nana, Poppa, Buddy, Pooh Ba, Kiki (blankie), bath, walk, yummy, stuck (Ahhh-uck), this, these, blue, black, tractor, Minnie, two, brush, bug, shoes, boots, bike, duck (as in duck down and animal duck), baby, buckle, rocks, please, thank you, tsschus, chau, bye-bye, eyes, nose, hair, belly button, toes, shoes, socks, leash, vest ... and everyday she keeps adding more and more words! It is so much fun.

At the moment, Buddy and Pooh Bah are here and we love having them here. I'll post photos of their visit in a later blog, but for now, here are a few photos of what we've been up to before Buddy and Pooh Bah's visit!

Slug and snail hunting.

LOVING bike rides in the new Chariot! We rode next to Brinerz Lake
(by Interlaken) one afternoon.

Cora and I took a trip to Thun one afternoon to explore and meet some friends.

We hiked up to a beautiful waterfall near Abelboden last weekend.

More photos from our everyday walk through Schwarzenburg.

Dancing Bunnies, Rain Boots and First Blackberries

Between our constant cycle of hosting guests, cleaning, grocery shopping, cooking and doing the never ending laundry, Cora and I are trying to stay on as normal of a schedule as possible --- running or hiking tanner and playing at the playground almost every afternoon, going to the gym Tuesday and Thursday mornings and attending the English speaking play group on Wednesday mornings. We do a pretty good job filling up our days around here!

Our good friends Lillian, Caitie and Dan left to go home to Canada last week. We miss them SO much but I thought I'd post some photos of our last trip to the indoor grocery store playground that we spent so much time together at during all the terrible rainy days here. We will miss them so so much!

Helping them pack!

We take the train EVERYWHERE so a lot of our quality time together is on this silly little train. This particular day we were on our way to play group.

Play group! Note how small Cora is comported to all the other kids her age or younger. Ha. What a tiny, adorable little thing!
